Connectors are puzzle elements from both the first game in the Talos Principle series and its sequel. They are used to change the direction of a laser beam.
Most connectors are portable, with their connected elements chosen by the player, but some puzzles feature fixed connectors whose location can connections cannot be altered.
Usage
After picking up a connector, the player can aim at any number of visible targets (emitters, receivers or any laser-related tool) and press "Use" to add them to the list of connected targets.
When the player places the connector down, all selected targets will be linked to the connector.
In The Talos Principle 2
Specifically in The Talos Principle 2, it is possible to pick up a connector while keeping its current targets by using the "Alternative Use" key.
