Take stock of all the equipment you have. There are two connectors and a recorder.

The ultimate objective:

You have to connect the blue receiver near the end without interrupting the red laser.

How to think about the problem:

Since there are no hexahedrons around to give vertical separation between the lasers of different colors, you have to separate them laterally. How can you arrange for the red light to reach the red receiver without interrupting the path of the blue laser?

If you're wondering what the recorder is for:

The recorded version of yourself gets to use their own copy of the connectors, and the real version of yourself can then use the recorded connectors as sources of light.

Solution

A full sequence of steps:

As the recorded version of yourself, place two connectors directing red light behind the pillar with the blue emitter. As the real version of yourself, use one connector to get light from the recorded connector from behind the pillar to the red receiver, and the other connector to straightforwardly connect the blue receiver.
