Alexandra Drennan was the leader of the in-universe Talos Project, designed to allow the creation of a new human race after her own species went extinct.
In The Talos Principle, there are numerous audio logs of Alexandra's reflections on humanity, civilization, and her project.
In The Talos Principle 2, her importance is greatly expanded upon, being mythologized and turned into The Progenitor.
