Recall that bombs will typically not blow you up if you're on a higher level

If you keep getting blown up by the inside guard:

Perhaps you should not be approaching the guard at all.

If you can't find the blue emitter:

Look -- but don't walk behind -- the area with the turret and the guard. Do you see the emitter high up on the right side?

If your blue laser is getting blocked:

You need double the elevation.

Solution

A full sequence of actions:

Grab the two hexahedrons and keep them close to the blue door. Unjam the guard from a height and open the door instead. Take both boxes inside and up on the platform. Set up one connector with a good angle to the final receiver, and another to connect the emitter to the next connector. Stack up both boxes on the patrolling guard, and place the final connector on top.
