Identifier: Abyss-14
Area: Into the Abyss
Previous Puzzle: Here and There
Next Puzzle: Narrow Path

Reversion is the fourteenth puzzle in Into the Abyss, part of the Road to Elysium expansion for The Talos Principle 2.

Puzzle Elements

Overview

The puzzle is composed of three rooms. The first one holds an Inverter and a red Emitter. A Blue door controlled by a Pressure plate leads to the second room, which holds a second Inverter. On one side, a small cell contains a blue Emitter. On the other side, a Blue door controlled by a blue Receiver leads to the third room, which contains a third Inverter and a last Blue door to the Progress Wheel.

Hints

If you have trouble reaching the third Inverter:

[ hint ]
Because of the position of the Pressure plate in the first room, placing the Inverter on it heavily restricts the angle from which it is visible. What else can press down on the plate?

If you're stuck after retrieving the third Inverter:

[ hint ]
The blue Emitter is not used in the final solution. Notice that the Inverter in the first room cannot open both Blue doors just by itself.

Hidden QR Code

The QR Code, written on the wall.

From the entrance of the puzzle, following the narrow ledge alongside the right wall leads to a QR Code written by The Sphinx.

Who builds cities, and who tears them down? Who brings life, and who takes it away? If one man does both, is he not mad?

-- The Sphinx

Nightmare hologram

The hologram, found alongside the path leading up to the puzzle.

On the right side of the path that leads up to the puzzle room, the red hologram for the Nightmare 7 audio log can be found.
