Clockwork is a gold puzzle in Orpheus Ascending, part of the Road to Elysium expansion for The Talos Principle 2. It is only available after completing the seventeen main puzzles.

Overview

A main room in the shape of a hexagon contains three Connectors and three sets of Emitter and Receiver, one of each color.

Outside, a corridor contains three copies of the same mechanism, one for each color: a Blue door blocks 1k as well as a pre-connected beam; the pre-connected Receiver controls a set of Fans that push 1k away when turned on.

Solution

  Take one of the Connectors. Connect the green Emitter and Receiver, as well as the red Receiver.
• 
  Take another Connector and do a similar setup on the red side: connect the red Emitter and Receiver, as well as the blue Receiver.
• 
  Take the last Connector and do the same thing on the blue side: blue Emitter and Receiver, as well as the green Receiver. The beams will now interrupt each other alternatively, giving each enough time to open its corresponding Blue door, but not long enough for the pre-connected beam to turn on its Fan.
