Puzzle elements

Overview

When you enter the puzzle, you find yourself in a small area in the front with two accumulators and two emitters, a red and a blue one. There is a short tunnel that leads to a second area with an inverter and four receivers. There is one set of red and blue receivers on the left of a grill partition, and another set on the right. There is a blue door that leads to another area, which is at a slightly higher elevation, and another blue door leads to the progress wheel.

Hints

A basic hint:

[ hint ]
Since the name of the puzzle is Field of View, a primary component of the puzzle is to figure out what elements are visible from what parts of the puzzle.

If you're having trouble getting started:

[ hint ]
Notice carefully the wires that go from the receivers. Which doors do they go to? Do you need all of them to be active at once?

If you're stuck on the second door:

[ hint ]
Go past the first door and explore the area. Are there any good vantage points from which some things are visible?

Method 1: If you can't make progress past the first door:

[ hint ]
Ignore the inverter. Focus on the emitters connected to the first door. Is there a way to activate them using just the activators? Is there some place where you can place the activators so that it will be accessible later?

Method 2: If you are still stuck outside:

[ hint ]
Notice that the two receivers on the extreme ends (extreme right and extreme left) are both blue. This means it may be possible to satisfy them both from a single, well-placed piece of equipment. That leaves one piece of equipment each for the two remaining receivers.
