Our failure, to him, was not failing to create a better system, but failing to truthfully reflect what already exists within our minds. A failure of connection - between the high and the low, the inner and the outer.

On most days, that seems wrong to me. But sometimes, when I think of where New Jerusalem is headed... I wonder if the Somnodrome doesn't hold an answer after all. I took some time to build a prototype according the original blueprints, but there's a lot Melampus didn't account for. Still, I'm almost certain I could apply some of my own knowledge and make it work.

The question is, should I?
