Tidal Lock is the twelfth puzzle in Into the Abyss, part of the Road to Elysium expansion for The Talos Principle 2.
Puzzle Elements
Overview
The circular puzzle area is characterized by two large globes hanging over the floor. The large one revolves around the center of the room and is controlled by a set of red Receivers. The smaller one revolves around the large one like a satellite and is controlled by a set of blue Receivers. There are Gravity Surfaces on both globes' south poles, as well as the large one's northern hemisphere. The Progress Wheel is perched on top of a large pedestal.

Rotate the planet until the "moon" is lined up with the horizontal Fan. -
Use the Connector to link the Emitter to the red Receiver by the Fan and place it down on the Pressure plate to make the Gravshifter fall down. -
Rotate the planet again until its south pole is next to the pillar where the Fan blades are. -
Use the Gravshifter to target the planet's south pole. -
Climb onto the planet and grab the Fan blades. -
Put the Fan blades in place. -
Use the Gravshifter to create a beam from the planet's north hemisphere to the moon. -
Place the Connector back onto the Pressure plate. -
Jump onto the Fan and onto the moon. -
Jump into the Gravshifter beam and onto the planet. Grab the Inverter and jump down. -
Rotate the moon until it lines up with the pillar where the Progress Wheel is. -
Use the Gravshifter to target the moon's south pole. -
Jump into the beam and onto the ledge and finish the puzzle.
