Because the Talos Principle games span thousands of years of history, there are several different kinds of characters present.

  2. Programs, such as Elohim, Athena, and Uriel, populated the Simulation during the time of the first game.
  3. New humans, such as Athena (again) and 1k, live in robotic bodies during the time of the second game.
