The Ring is the eleventh puzzle in Into the Abyss, part of the Road to Elysium expansion for The Talos Principle 2.

Overview

The large circular room is split into multiple cells contains various equipment. In the center on the room, the eponymous ring is a conveyor controlled by Pressure plates. In the back of the room, a Blue door controlled by three Receivers block the passage to the Progress Wheel.

Solution

• 
  Take the Connector near the Fan and place it on the conveyor.
• 
  Rotate the ring until the Connector reaches the section on the right.
• 
  Take one of the Connectors and link in to the Emitter. Place it down next to the Purple barrier.
• 
  Take the second Connector, link it to the first one and to the Inverter in the nearby cell, and place it down on the conveyor.
• 
  Rotate the conveyor clockwise until the Connector lines up with the opening in the grate.
• 
  Walk into the cell, and add the second blue Receiver to the Inverter's targets.
• 
  Place the Fan onto the nearby Pressure plate.
• 
  Place the first Connector onto the conveyor.
• 
  Rotate the conveyor clockwise until the Connectors reach the entrance area.
• 
  Connect the Emitter to the Inverter through the central area.
• 
  Take the Fan off the Pressure plate and place it on the conveyor.
• 
  Rotate the conveyor until the Fan reaches the left section.
• 
  Put the Fan blades in place and jump onto it.
• 
  Place the RGB converter on the nearby Pressure plate.
• 
  Take the second Connector in the entrance area, connect it to the blue Inverter and place it down behind the red connector.
• 
  Take the Fan blades and put them onto the conveyor.
• 
  Rotate the conveyor counterclockwise until the Fan reaches the entrance area.
• 
  Swap the Fan for the RGB converter on the Pressure plate.
• 
  Connect the RGB converter to both Connectors in the entrance area and to the green Receiver inside the cell.
• 
  Bring the second Inverter out of the cell and onto the conveyor.
• 
  Bring the RGB converter into the entrance area.
• 
  Rotate the conveyor counterclockwise until the Inverter reaches the entrance area.
• 
  Connect the Inverter to the Emitter and place it down next to the blue Connector.
• 
  Take the RGB converter and place it on the Pressure plate in the right cell.
• 
  Disconnect the red Connector.
• 
  Bring the blue Connector into the right cell and link the blue Inverter in the entrance area to both blue Receivers inside the cell.
• 
  Take the Inverter out of the cell and onto the conveyor.
• 
  Take the RGB converter off the Pressure plate and onto the conveyor.
• 
  Add the Connector and the second Inverter on the conveyor.
• 
  Rotate the conveyor counterclockwise until the first Inverter reaches the left section. Connect it to the Emitter and place it down next to the Purple barrier.
• 
  Rotate the conveyor counterclockwise until the rest of the tools reach the left section. Take the Connector, link the blue Inverter to the blue Receiver by the Progress Wheel and place it down on the inside of the conveyor.
• 
  Take the second Inverter, connect it to the blue Connector and to the red Receiver by the Progress Wheel. Place it down on the outside of the conveyor, one segment to the left of the connector.
• 
  Take the RGB converter, connect it to the blue Connector, to the red Inverter and to the green Receiver by the Progress Wheel. Place it down on the insde of the conveyor, one segment to the left of the inverter.
• 
  Rotate the conveyor clockwise until all three tools line up with their respective opening in the grate, causing the Blue door to open.
• 
  Step on the side of the final room and teleport to the Progress Wheel.
