Welcome to The Talos Principle Wiki
The Talos Principle is a videogame franchise developed by Croteam and published by Devolver Digital. It consists of the following releases:

- Sigils of Elohim

- The Talos Principle 2
The games take place in a hypothetical future in which the human species (referred to as biological humans) has become extinct due to a virus released from the permafrost, but have managed to continue human civilization via sentient human-like androids. The series deals with topics such as consciousness, meaning of existence, artificial intelligence, transhumanism, or anthropogenic climate change, from philosophical, political and religious points of view. It quotes fragments from historical philosophers, writers and thinkers, with texts from other fictional figures.
