Overview
As you enter the puzzle, you find a blue emitter connected to a receiver using a connector. This is keeping a blue door open to a room with another connector in it. Around the room is a passage way with another receiver that opens a blue door to a room with the sigil in it.

Make sure you grab all the equipment before you disturb the initial configuration of the room
Solution

Take the Connector out of its cell. -
Reposition the first connector so that it is visible through the corridor. -
Take the second Connector and link the Receiver to the first Connector.
