Accumulators are puzzle elements that are capable of storing light from a laser in order to emit it elsewhere.

Controls

An uncharged accumulator.
An accumulator charged with blue laser.

In order to charge an accumulator, it must be connected to a laser source (e.g., an emitter or connector) and then placed on the ground. After a short time, the accumulator becomes charged and is disconnected from its source. The accumulator can then be picked up again and used as a laser source.

It is possible (and is some cases necessary) to change the color of the accumulator. The accumulator must be discharged first by holding the "Alternative Use" key for a brief instant. The accumulator then loses its color and can be charged again.
