Fragile Balance is the sixteenth puzzle in Into the Abyss, part of the Road to Elysium expansion for The Talos Principle 2.

Overview

The puzzle consists of a corridor with three Blue doors, each controlled by a set of Receivers of each side. At the start, a single blue Emitter and three Inverters are available. Behind the first and third doors, small pedestals offer elevation changes. Finally, the Progress Wheel is locked behind a last Blue door, controlled by a set of three Pressure plates.

Solution

• 
  Connect one of the Inverters to the Emitter and to all four red Receivers. Place it down right in the middle of the corridor.
• 
  Take another Inverter, connect it to the red Inverter and to the two blue Receivers. Place it down on top of the platform.
• 
  Take the third Inverter, bring it to the end of the room. Connect it to the Emitter, to the blue Inverter and to all four red Receivers. Place it down on the ground, centered so that the first Inverter blocks the blue laser coming off the Emitter.
• 
  Pick up the first Inverter. Doing so does not close any doors as the blue laser connecting the Emitter to the third Inverter becomes unblocked and keeps the network powered. Connect it to the red Inverter on the ground and to both blue Receivers. Place it down on the second platform.
• 
  Pick up the Inverter on the first platform and place it down on one of the Pressure plates.
• 
  Finish the puzzle by picking up the remaining Inverters and placing them on the other Pressure plates.
