Passage is the sixth main puzzle in the Wooded Plateau area of The Talos Principle 2.

Overview

When you enter the puzzle, you see two angled fans, a pressure plate with a detached fan on it. There is a blue door at a higher level blocking the way to the progress wheel. On the right are two towers. The first has two copper horizontal bases, and a jammer on the top of it. The second tower is a driller, a pressure plate, and another angled fan pointed to the left tower. There is also a purple barrier towards the outside. On the left tower, there is another driller with a purple barrier and a copper wall. There is a ladder allowing you to climb from downstairs back up.

If you're trying to aim the driller through the window in the first tower (the one with the fan), don't.

Try to get both drillers out into the open. Use the ladder a lot.

If you're not sure what to use to unlock the blue door near the progress wheel:

There is a jammer on top of the tower on the right, on top of two copper platforms.

If you're running out of ways to keep the upstairs fan running:

There is a reason why the detached fan blades are so prominently placed on the pressure plate at the very beginning of the puzzle.

Solution

• 
  Take the Fan blades and jump on the Fan in the corner.
• 
  Place the blades down on the Pressure Plate.
• 
  Take the Driller and jump on the Fan.
• 
  Drill the close-by wall.
• 
  Place the other Driller through the hole.
• 
  Jump down, and use the second driller on the same wall.
• 
  Climb back up, and place the second Driller through the hole.
• 
  Use one of the Drillers to drill the ceiling of the tower.
• 
  Take the second Driller, and drill the ceiling where the Jammer is standing, through the hole of the first Driller.
• 
  Take the Jammer, and jam the door by the Progress Wheel while placing it down on the Pressure Plate.
• 
  Take one of the Driller, fly up and switch places with the Fan blades.
• 
  Take the blades and jump of the Fan.
• 
  Place the blades down for the time being.
• 
  Jump down, grab the remaining Driller and drill the wall where the Fan blades are.
• 
  Climb back up, and drop the Fan blades through the hole.
• 
  Finally, place the blades back onto the Fan and jump up.
