Bridging the Gap is the fifth main puzzle in the Circular Oasis area of The Talos Principle 2.
Puzzle elements
Just like Dismantling, this puzzle does not feature a rotating platform, but it does feature a moving platform made of concrete.
Overview
When you enter the puzzle, you find yourself at the base of a staircase. At the top of the staircase is a purple barrier, which leads to a small hallway. At the end of the hallway, we reach the right area, where there are two pressure plates that control access to the progress wheel. There is also a connector. Looking left from the right area, we can see a red emitter on the entrance wall, but it is some distance away, and you are a floor up. There is a large gap with some water underneath. If you fall down, you can climb out with a ladder that will take you to the base of the staircase. Across the empty space is a moving floor, with a small vertical attached wall with a red receiver on it. This moving floor mechanism is currently docked to the left area, which contains a red receiver that blocks access to a small area with another connector in it.
