Dead Man's Switch is a puzzle in World C7 of The Talos Principle.

Solution

A full sequence of steps:

Using three connectors, redirect red light from inside the room all the way across to the two red receivers. Step on the pressure plate yourself to allow the light to connect. This gives you the hexahedron, which you can now use on the pressure plate. Enter the room with the red emitter, and use the connector on the receiver inside to keep the door open. Now use an outside connector to open the door from the outside, allowing you to free up the inside connector. Now that you have four connectors, you have enough equipment to open the sigil and star doors.
