Momentum Deferred is the epilogue of The Talos Principle 2] achieved by selecting "Shut it down." during the final conversation with Athena.
In a cutscene, The Sphinx narrates the open-ended nature of this story while the lights in the Megastructure all turn off. Then 1k leaves New Jerusalem as others argue in the background. He meets with Athena and they look out over the ruins of the ancient world.
Optional Scenes
If the player has completed all gold puzzles and saved Miranda, then the ending includes altered cutscenes.
Athena is joined by Cornelius and Miranda on the bench. After 1k is arrived, he Athena discuss the future.
