I've identified a number of obvious commonalities with the software we use in [[New Jerusalem]], enough to be certain that Noema is descended from our own software, although [[Athena (1)|Athena]] and [[Cornelius (3)|Cornelius]] appear to have upgraded it quite extensively.

Noema seems capable of interfacing directly with the user's mind at a deeper level than our own technology, although this functionality is not used consistently. Currently guest users are locked out of all functions, so only [[1k (1000)|1k]] can access the system, although he's also locked out of any admin functionality.
